Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of California school experience as an SLP
- At least 1 year of experience with Special Education Information System (SEIS)
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators preferred
- Ability to effectively manage high caseloads and handle multiple referrals
- Candidates must be Certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs); Clinical Fellows (CFs) are considered
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) only applications accepted
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 students requiring speech-only services
- Collaborate within the school’s multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality speech therapy services
- Utilize specialized knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology systems, including SEIS
- Provide supervision and guidance for SLPAs as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with relevant educational and therapeutic guidelines
