Make a significant difference in students' communication skills through a rewarding school-based contract opportunity. This onsite, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in the Fresno, CA area brings a supportive environment, the chance to supervise SLPAs, and the ability to serve a diverse group of students at the elementary level. With 37.5 hours per week and a caseload primarily at the Alpha Elementary site, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced facilitators, manage varied cases, and potentially support speech-only students with the help of an SLPA.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of SLP experience in California schools
  • At least 1 year of experience using SEIS documentation system
  • Confidence managing large caseloads and frequent referrals
  • Previous supervision of SLPAs and working with facilitators preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
  • Open to both seasoned SLPs and recent CFs (SLPAs not considered for this opening)
  • Bilingual SLPs encouraged to apply

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language services as mandated by IEPs
  • Supervising and mentoring SLPAs (when applicable)
  • Overseeing assessment, diagnostics, and intervention plans
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Managing documentation, including data entry in SEIS
  • Maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
