School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Machesney Park, Illinois

Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Professional Educator License (PEL) active, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates welcome
- Prior experience or strong interest in a school setting
- Commitment to working full-time throughout the academic year
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication abilities of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Provide therapy sessions individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Engage in professional development as needed
