Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Illinois or eligibility to obtain
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered
What You’ll Do:
- Provide a full spectrum of direct and indirect speech and language services to a K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments in both Spanish and English
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Engage in regular communication with parents and staff, supporting students’ progress and ensuring best practices
