Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Massachusetts SLP license (MA SLP licensure) required
- DESE licensure for school-based SLP services
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged populations, ideally across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech and language therapy in group and individual settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
