Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Lyndonville, Vermont
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025/2026 school year, offering an onsite contract role within a school setting. This opportunity involves providing essential speech-language services across multiple locations, with the primary base in Cabot and additional support duties possibly at Twinfield and various out-of-district placements in the Barre and Berlin areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in school environments.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, including Pediatrics and healthcare-focused speech-language pathology.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently in multiple locations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and school staff.
Location: Positions are based primarily in Cabot, Vermont, with occasional assignments in Twinfield and out-of-district locations in Barre and Berlin.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $45-55 and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication development within diverse school communities.
