Speech Therapist in Los Angeles, CA
A rewarding opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services in an educational setting in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position runs through the 2026-2027 school year, supporting seven students with speech and language needs throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports to track student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support when needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of current speech and language assessment and intervention strategies.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Details:
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
- Weekly Hours: 35 hours.
- Duration: Contract for the 2026-2027 school year.
