A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract role starting ASAP in an elementary school setting located in South El Monte, CA. This opportunity requires an SLP with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience working within school environments. The position supports an elementary caseload, with additional responsibilities serving some middle school and transitional kindergarten (TK) students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle school, and TK levels.
  • Manage a caseload primarily focused on mild to moderate behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Ensure therapy goals are tailored to meet students’ communication needs within the school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in schools, ideally with caseloads that include elementary and some secondary grades.
  • Ability to effectively support students exhibiting mild to moderate behavioral issues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • No SLPA supervision responsibilities required.
