As an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to student growth and communication success.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP license (Department of Health) required
- Washington State OSPI ESA License with SLP endorsement required (fully licensed candidates only)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school setting working with students of varying ages and abilities
- Effective interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to best practices in therapy, documentation, and collaborative problem-solving
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in elementary through high school settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, counselors, and other specialties as part of the student support team
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff discussions to promote student achievement
