An opening position is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students from elementary through high school levels in Longview, Washington. This onsite role supports a diverse student population with a range of disabilities, from mild to severe, providing essential speech and language services within a school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessment, evaluation, and individualized therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school policies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches for student success
- Adhering to ethical and professional standards as outlined by state certification and school guidelines
Qualifications:
- Washington State Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Experience with diverse disabilities and age groups from elementary through high school
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule, five days per week (Monday through Friday), approximately 7 hours per day
- Flexibility to conduct interviews via Zoom or in person as required
