Speech and Language Pathologist - Fort Collins, CO
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available, serving students across two school locations in Fort Collins, CO. This contract position focuses on providing specialized speech and language services within a significant need program, supporting a total of 50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations, therapy, and support to students with diverse communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Track and report student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student success.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations including IDEA.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time contract role based onsite only.
- 2 days per week at Berthoud High School.
- 3 days per week at Turner Middle School.
- Fort Collins, CO area.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP within school settings is required.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development appropriate for school-age children.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
