This role involves providing specialized support to preschool programs, the Preschool Assessment Team, and Mild Moderate 1-2 Special Day Classes (SDC) on a full-time, five-day-a-week schedule. The position is available to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children in school settings
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with the Preschool Assessment Team to develop individualized education plans
- Support students in Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC classrooms with tailored intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with educators and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning and goal setting
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational environments
- Knowledge of developmental speech and language disorders and appropriate therapeutic techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
