An opportunity is available for a licensed professional holding the Listening and Spoken Language Specialist – Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) certification to provide specialized assessment and therapy services in a school setting located in Los Angeles, CA.
This part-time contract position requires onsite attendance once a month for 60 minutes, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. The primary responsibility includes conducting Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) assessments to determine a student’s ongoing need for services. If indicated, the provider will continue delivering AVT services monthly for the duration of the contract.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold the LSLS Cert. AVT credential.
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Audiologist, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) with current state licensure.
- Experience providing Auditory Verbal Therapy services in educational settings.
- Strong assessment and communication skills to work effectively with students and school personnel.

- Los Angeles, California (onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct AVT assessments to evaluate student progress and needs.
- Provide monthly AVT therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by the school district.
