Qualifications:
- State certification for school-based speech-language pathology is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience supporting children in educational settings is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Provide direct therapy services to students on caseload, adjusting strategies based on individual progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records for compliance and reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based teams
