Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, with comfort adapting to either elementary or high school populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy for students onsite at the assigned school level (elementary: 40 hours/week, high school: 24 hours/week)
- Participate in IEP development, goal tracking, and multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized student plans
- Employ evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learning styles and communication needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and track student progress, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
