Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a school-based speech-language professional in the Denver area. This contract opportunity provides the chance to positively impact children and young adults across more than one campus, collaborating within a supportive educational environment.
We are seeking two committed professionals to fill immediate and upcoming needs:
- One part-time (2.5 days/week) position available now through late May 2027. You’ll provide in-person caseload coverage across multiple sites, adapting to evolving student needs throughout the year. Your caseload will consist of 20-25 students ranging in age.
- One full-time position (starting January through late May 2027), which is open to both SLPs and SLPAs. Support 40-45 students at a K-8 campus from January to mid-March, then transition to another school serving 40-45 students until the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement (SLPA credentials accepted for one position)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Adaptability to serve at multiple locations across the assignment
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services, including evaluation, intervention, and support for students with a variety of needs
- Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff as a valued member of the school team
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to student progress evaluations
- Demonstrate a flexible and enthusiastic approach in a dynamic academic environment
