Located in Lincoln, CA, this contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) prepared to provide high-quality care within a school setting. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting students with speech and language disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote effective communication skills and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual goals
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions addressing speech and language challenges
- Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate and engage families to support therapy goals and reinforce progress at home
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology is required
