School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Liberty, Missouri
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning in a thriving elementary school setting. This position offers an immediate start date, extending potentially through December 4 and possibly beyond. Work within a committed education community, engaging with first, second, and fifth graders, as well as students from cross-categorical and FIT classroom environments.
Your responsibilities will include direct therapy with a caseload of 37 students, two consults (with a pending third), and a unique in-class language group every Tuesday in the FIT room. Additional duties involve contributing to the positive school culture through morning car rider supervision and assisting with second grade and kindergarten ball field walkers during dismissal. The role is full-time, aligning with school hours from 8:50 a.m. to 4:25 p.m.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) for SLPs strongly preferred
- Experience working in a school environment with diverse student needs
- Strong collaborative skills for working alongside teachers and support staff
- Comfort with technology for virtual interviews and session documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct speech and language therapy for elementary students on assigned caseload
- Weekly in-class language group facilitation
