School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lexington Park, Maryland
Make an impact by supporting infants and toddlers as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a respected district office near Lexington Park, MD. In this rewarding role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to facilitate early intervention and promote communication development for a diverse, young caseload. Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with infant and toddler populations in school or early intervention settings is highly valued
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide intervention services for infants and toddlers with speech or language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare thorough documentation, progress reports, and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Partner closely with families and other early childhood professionals to support communication goals across daily routines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning for young learners
This contract offers a flexible schedule of two to three days per week, allowing for work-life balance and professional growth over an extended period in a supportive district environment. You’ll be part of a group dedicated to shaping the earliest communication foundations for children in their most formative years.
