You'll play a key role working with students whose grade levels and caseload details will be finalized prior to the start date, allowing you to make a true difference in their communication abilities and educational journey.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Texas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth in a supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and evidence-based therapy to students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting per program and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
