Speech Language Pathologist in Lewisburg, TN
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or able to support a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This role is based in a school setting in Lewisburg, Tennessee, servicing early childhood students aged 4 to 6 at one location.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech-language services to approximately 40 students, serving as case manager for about 10 students receiving direct services, and conducting required testing. The SLP will also be responsible for updating Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs), writing goals for students receiving related services, and attending meetings as necessary.
Key qualifications or experience:
- Valid SLP certification with either CCC or ability to support a CFY
- Experience working with young children, ages 4-6
- Ability to serve as case manager managing multiple students
- Skilled in conducting speech and language assessments and testing
- Comfortable updating PLAAFPs and developing goals for related services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for team meetings
