Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Dakota
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
- Skilled in IEP planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Enthusiastic about working with diverse learners and supportive school teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Promote inclusive and positive communication strategies within the school community
