What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention to elementary-age students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based treatment
- Support varied caseloads, including students needing articulation, language, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, collaborate with educators, and communicate with families to maximize student success
- Utilize paid administrative hours for planning, documentation, and collaboration
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and training opportunities
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Completion of required background check and fingerprinting prior to start date
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting and/or familiarity with AAC devices preferred
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and strong organizational skills
