Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Experience working within a school setting, ideally with elementary students
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable with a variety of student needs, from articulation/language to AAC users
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with caregivers and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support students using AAC, adapting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
