A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for an early childhood school setting in Lebanon, PA. This position is a leave replacement contract, providing an opportunity to work with young children aged 3-5 years. The role requires delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy services, including conducting assessments, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), participating in IEP meetings, and collaborating with school staff to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to children aged 3-5 years through direct and indirect service models
- Conduct comprehensive testing and assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicating student progress and goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong knowledge of speech-language evaluation, therapy techniques, and special education laws
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of an educational team
