Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain in Iowa)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student goals
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress reports
