Step into the 2026-2027 school year supporting elementary students by bringing your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a dynamic educational setting. As a full-time contract SLP, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners develop their communication skills. With two open positions available, you'll join a community focused on collaboration, innovation, and student success.
This role offers flexibility with scheduling as you split your caseload (approximately 65 students) between two elementary school sites. You'll be responsible for providing direct therapy and assessments, ensuring every child receives high-quality, individualized support. Whether you’re an experienced CCC-SLP or a recent graduate completing your CF, this is a great opportunity to expand your experience in a supportive, onsite environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status accepted
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and travel between two school sites
- Strong evaluation, therapy, and case management skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging learning experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ individualized plans
