Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Kansas SLP license (or eligible for KS licensure by the assignment start date)
- CCC-SLP certification encouraged; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will also be considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students
- Confident handling both evaluation and ongoing therapy
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Capacity to effectively split time between two school sites (self-scheduling flexibility)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and conduct comprehensive evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Flexibly plan your own schedule while traveling between two school buildings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care planning
- Engage with ongoing professional development and training opportunities
