Speech and Language Pathologist - Laurel, MD
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in supporting middle and high school students with moderate disabilities. This position offers a contract role with potential for permanent hire, located in Laurel, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 25-30 middle and high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and school goals.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Maryland SLP licensure required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those with moderate disabilities, is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently in a school environment.
