Embark on an engaging contract assignment for the 2026/2027 full school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in a K-12 district environment near Lathrop, CA. Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- CCC or active pursuit of CFY status
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is an asset
- Comfort with IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and student evaluation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs across K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school district
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing comprehensive input on student progress and goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with school and legal requirements
