Speech Therapist in Las Vegas, NV
Take your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to the next level with a rewarding contract position in the Las Vegas area! This is an on-site, full-time assignment supporting local schools within a vibrant community, where your passion for communication development can make a transformative impact on students across various age groups.
Candidates must be fully credentialed, with an active Nevada DOE Certificate and active Nevada SLP License. Applicants who have completed their Master’s degree are eligible; those with CCCs are especially encouraged to apply. Please note that only on-site work is considered—virtual or hybrid models are not an option, and part-time candidates will not be considered. Bilingual SLPs are highly valued for this assignment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Active NV Department of Education SLP Certification
- Active NV SLP License
- Full-time, on-site availability through late May 2026
- Ability to participate in fingerprinting, coordinated by the district
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Bilingual skills a significant plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to caseloads determined at assignment
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and regulatory requirements
- Adapt to varying school sites, caseloads, and student age groups
