This contract role seeks qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide early intervention services within preschool programs. The position involves itinerant work across Bucks County, focusing on supporting young children’s speech and language development through targeted therapy.
Location:
- Itinerant services throughout Lower Bucks County, including Feasterville and Levittown areas
- Primary administrative office located in Doylestown, PA
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a strong possibility of extension into the next school year following the school calendar
- Weekly hours: 37.5 hours
- Caseload: Preschool Early Intervention program
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children in early intervention programs
- Travel within the designated county area to provide direct therapy services in various settings
- Collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other professionals to support individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with program standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Instructional I or Instructional II certification is required
- Experience or interest in early intervention speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage an itinerant caseload effectively
