Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Speech and Communicative Disorders
- Eligible for, or current holder of, an AL SLP license and SLP teaching certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though candidates completing their CFY are welcome
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Openness to qualified out-of-state candidates willing to secure necessary AL certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy for a caseload of 60 students PK-12 with mild to moderate disabilities
- Deliver services and manage cases across three nearby schools, all within three miles
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators to support student goals
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress throughout the school year (August to May)
- Address a diverse range of therapy needs within a supportive, small-district environment
