Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to vibrant elementary settings serving K-5th grade students. This rewarding contract role spans multiple school sites and offers the opportunity to provide high-impact support to approximately 40 students, helping them reach communication milestones throughout the academic year. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Active South Carolina LLR licensure
- Current South Carolina Department of Education certificate for SLP
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Excellent collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct and consultative therapy to K-5 students with varied speech and language needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and teachers to ensure positive student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation for all therapy sessions, progress reports, and meetings
- Assist in transition planning and support school-wide initiatives to promote language and literacy development
- Communicate progress and therapeutic recommendations to educators and families
