Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- New Mexico state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to the assignment’s start date
- Experience working in K-12 or school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and effective therapy to diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and regularly document student progress
- Provide resources and strategies to teachers and caregivers for supporting communication needs in and out of the classroom
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
