This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-8 school setting in Tacoma, WA. The contract role involves delivering high-quality support to students, helping to improve their communication skills and academic performance.

Responsibilities include providing approximately 8 hours per week of direct speech therapy services, with flexible scheduling for indirect work to be completed at your convenience. The caseload consists of 13 students, allowing for focused and personalized intervention. The position supports students from kindergarten through 8th grade, and the term extends from ASAP through the end of the school year with the option to continue into the next school year.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings
  • Ability to manage a manageable caseload with attention to individualized student needs
  • Familiarity with delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy services
  • Candidates who are already onboarded with CANDYS are preferred
