A contract position is currently available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including recent SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs), to join a school-based team. This role focuses on serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a single building setting, providing targeted support to about 30 to 40 students across four classrooms.
Location: This opportunity is based in Lakeville, MN, with work primarily at one of two education centers:
- North Education Center, 5530 Zealand Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55428
- South Education Center, 7450 Penn Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 4
- Hours per week: 36.25
- Caseload: 30-40 students, K-12, focusing on Setting 4 classrooms
- Number of buildings: 1 per assignment
- Open to SLP-CFs; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure required; SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience or training in school-based speech-language services
- Ability to manage a caseload in a school environment, working with students across multiple grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech and language therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
