Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and special education laws
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals and adapt to varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to educational teams and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other related service personnel
- Offer education and support to school staff and caregivers as needed
