Working onsite near scenic Lake Hughes, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver exceptional speech therapy services during the academic year.

What You’ll Need:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, preferably with middle- or high-school students
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work full-time, onsite (37.5 hours per week) within a middle school
  • Commitment to contract duration through June 10, 2027

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to middle school students’ individual needs
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and student success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and school-based SLP trends
