What You’ll Need:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, preferably with middle- or high-school students
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work full-time, onsite (37.5 hours per week) within a middle school
- Commitment to contract duration through June 10, 2027
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to middle school students’ individual needs
- Maintain accurate progress reports and detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and student success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and school-based SLP trends
