Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California and CTC certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP
- Previous school-based SLP experience needed; high school experience is valued but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic K-8th grade caseload with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for children with communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Complete all required documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance tasks
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
