As an itinerant clinician, you’ll work with a diverse K-8th grade caseload, collaborating closely with educators and families to help every student thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California SLP license and CTC are required
- SLP-CCC credential
- Demonstrated expertise in providing speech-language therapy within school settings
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload across multiple sites (itinerant model)
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility, organization, and a student-centered mindset
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-8 students, supporting their academic and social success
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards
- Deliver both direct and consultative services across various campuses
- Participate in IEP teams and contribute valuable expertise during meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to promote communication growth and inclusion
- Serve as a resource on speech-language concerns for the broader educational community
