Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure for SLP (or eligibility to obtain relevant licensure before start date)
- Prior experience working in K–12 educational settings is advantageous
- Confidence managing a diverse caseload
- Strong communication, organizational, and reporting abilities
- Willingness to collaborate closely with families, educators, and other school staff
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy, adapt interventions as students progress, and monitor outcomes
- Maintain compliant records and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families, helping to generalize communication strategies
- Engage in caseload assignment discussions to help align your strengths and interests with available openings
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all student interactions
