Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) working with elementary-aged students in a supportive school setting near Krum, TX. This full-time role runs from August 12th, 2026, through May 19th, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM CST). You’ll also benefit from the assistance of an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to help manage the caseload effectively, making your day-to-day more collaborative and focused.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- In-depth knowledge of assessments, interventions, and IEP documentation for elementary students
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to work onsite and partner effectively with an SLPA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s progress
- Complete all required documentation and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Delegate appropriate tasks to the onsite SLPA while overseeing therapy quality
