Step into an engaging role supporting early childhood learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK and Kindergarten students. This contract assignment runs from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Focus your skills onsite in a collaborative and resourceful school environment, working with a caseload of approximately 25-35 young learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license; candidates from out of state are encouraged to apply if willing to obtain CA licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings with early childhood or elementary populations
- Solid communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to fostering student growth in speech, language, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to assessment, progress monitoring, and goal setting
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical and educational records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
