Make a meaningful impact working with elementary and pre-kindergarten students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. Preferred candidates will bring their CCC credentials and previous school-based experience to the role, supporting students in elementary and pre-school classrooms. Sessions are scheduled 2-3 times per week, totaling 15-20 hours, allowing you a balanced and flexible part-time commitment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) and professional license to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly at elementary and pre-K levels
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans for children in elementary and pre-kindergarten settings
- Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to foster students’ communication growth
- Provide progress updates and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage families in their child’s therapeutic process to maximize carry-over and success
