Pediatric Kindergarten School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kissimmee, Florida
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary-aged students in a school setting near Clermont, FL. This role is ideal for a licensed professional with experience working in pediatric and elementary school environments, holding the appropriate Florida licenses including the Department of Health (DOH) license and professional licensure.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating closely with educators and families to support student progress. The position requires working 2-3 times per week, totaling approximately 15-20 hours. Preferred candidates will have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and prior experience within schools, especially with kindergarten and pre-school populations.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Department of Health (DOH) professional licensure
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within elementary-aged populations
- Familiarity with kindergarten, pre-K, and pre-school language development
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to provide services effectively in a school-based setting
