Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP state license and ASHA CCC (or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and IDEA compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering growth and progress in children with speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a student population
- Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions targeting a range of communication needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists in multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP team meetings and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
