This is an onsite, contract position set in a vibrant educational environment near Kent, WA. You'll work with K-12 students, providing impactful speech and language support for up to 45 students, helping them achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Washington state SLP licensure/certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Strong background in school-based speech-language pathology
- Experience with K-12 caseloads highly desired
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI before start date
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the duration of the contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students onsite, adhering to IEP goals
- Monitor progress and keep detailed, timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and expertise as a valued team member
- Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
