Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid WA State SLP License/Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with K-12 populations and familiarity with school-based therapy models
- Successfully fingerprinted through OSPI before starting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services onsite within the school setting
- Manage a caseload of up to 45 students, ensuring each receives individualized, high-quality support
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff on students’ IEPs and progress
- Assess, document, and report on student needs, intervention plans, and ongoing outcomes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Facilitate small groups and one-on-one sessions, tailoring interventions to promote academic and social success
- Actively participate in professional development, school meetings, and ongoing caseload management
