School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kennesaw, Georgia
Step into a rewarding contract role providing Speech-Language Pathology services for elementary-aged students. Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
What You'll Do:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
- Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) tailored to student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
Assignment Details:
- Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week
- Serving an elementary caseload within a supportive school community
- Position runs through approximately October 2, 2026, covering a maternity leave
- Located at an elementary campus in the Kennesaw, GA, area
