School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kelso, Washington
Step into an impactful role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 academic year as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist. Working full-time, Monday through Friday, you will collaborate within dedicated educational teams to help students with a range of mild to severe disabilities develop vital communication skills. Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA certificate with SLP endorsement (full credential required)
- SLP-CCC preferred
- Prior schools-based experience strongly preferred
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing therapy for a variety of communication disorders among school-aged children
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
In this rewarding position, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conducting assessments and drafting detailed evaluation reports
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing effective IEPs tailored to student needs
- Consulting and collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintaining ongoing documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Providing resources and strategies for classroom implementation
